Our Story
From a Small Dream to a Thriving Reality
In 2017, Jacques Naudé founded Joseph’s Dream with a vision to turn abandoned land in Portugal into a thriving, sustainable refuge for families and investors. Inspired by the biblical story of Joseph, Jacques set out to create a farm that fosters both prosperity and community.
What started as a small family farm has grown into a flourishing enterprise, managing hundreds of hectares of organic almond and walnut orchards. Joseph’s Dream is built on organic regenerative farming practices that benefit both the land and the people involved.
Jacques’ background as a rugby captain taught him leadership, resilience, and teamwork, which have been crucial in building the farm’s success. By forging strong partnerships and securing government support, Jacques has ensured that Joseph’s Dream continues to expand sustainably.
Today, Joseph’s Dream is more than a farm—it’s a community. Families and investors from around the world have joined, drawn by Jacques’ passion, transparency, and the shared goal of a sustainable, simpler lifestyle.
